What is Dye-VL?
Dye-VL is filtered light—not a “dynamic variable-length laser.” Target visible color with a spectrum selected for it.
Dye-VL is an applicator in the Alma Harmony platform that uses Advanced Fluorescence Technology, a form of filtered intense pulsed light, to deliver a narrow spectrum for selected vascular and pigmented targets. It is not a single-wavelength laser.1
Revival first evaluates whether redness or pigmentation is an appropriate cosmetic target. Changing lesions, unexplained flushing, active disease, and some pigment patterns require diagnosis or referral rather than cosmetic light treatment.
