IV therapy in Spanish Fork, Utah

Direct delivery.
Thoughtful direction.

Intravenous means “within a vein.” Fluids or prescribed substances enter the bloodstream through a small catheter.1

IV fluids are specially formulated liquids delivered into a vein. In conventional medical care, they are used to prevent or treat dehydration and for other specific clinical needs.2

At Revival, every elective IV therapy visit begins with screening. Your provider reviews relevant medical conditions, medications, allergies, symptoms, and goals before determining whether an IV is suitable and what—if anything—should be administered.

Because evidence for many broad wellness claims about elective vitamin infusions remains limited, your experience is presented as personalized supportive care rather than a cure, detox, or substitute for appropriate medical evaluation, nutrition, sleep, or prescribed treatment.3

Read the safety approach

Start with the conversation

What brings you
to the chair?

You do not need to select an ingredient list. Choose what is prompting your visit; a provider determines whether IV therapy is reasonable.

01

Your reason, reviewed

Hydration conversation

If fluid loss or reduced intake has you concerned about hydration, a provider can review symptoms and determine whether oral hydration, IV fluids, or higher-level care is appropriate.

No outcome is guaranteed. Severe or concerning symptoms may require urgent evaluation.

The Revival IV experience

personal—not packaged.

Revival is led by Shea Nielsen, MSN, NP-C, a board-certified nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of medical experience. That clinical background shapes a more considered IV experience: assess first, select intentionally, monitor carefully.

“The question is never just which drip sounds good. It is whether IV therapy makes sense for this person, on this day, for this reason.”

Safety before the drip

The calm comes
with context.

IV therapy involves venous access and can carry risks. A beautiful experience still requires appropriate screening, sterile technique and trained oversight.

What risks are possible?

Possible risks include pain, bruising, bleeding, swelling, vein irritation, infiltration or leakage into surrounding tissue, infection, allergic reaction, medication or nutrient interactions, electrolyte or fluid imbalance, and other ingredient-specific effects. Rare but serious complications can occur.

When should I seek medical care instead?

Severe dehydration can be life-threatening. Confusion, fainting, inability to keep fluids down, severe weakness, very low urination, chest pain, trouble breathing, signs of stroke, severe allergic symptoms or rapidly worsening illness require appropriate urgent or emergency evaluation—not an elective wellness appointment.6

Does IV therapy replace water, food or medical treatment?

No. Elective IV therapy is not a substitute for daily hydration, balanced nutrition, sleep, prescribed medication or diagnosis and treatment of persistent symptoms. Evidence for many generalized IV vitamin wellness claims remains limited.3

How are ingredients selected?

A provider should consider why an ingredient is proposed, the dose, relevant evidence, allergies, health conditions, medications, supplements and possible interactions. Specific formulas and eligibility must be confirmed directly with Revival.

What is IV therapy?

IV therapy delivers fluids or prescribed substances through a small catheter placed in a vein, allowing them to enter the bloodstream directly.1

How long does an IV therapy appointment take?

Revival’s current service information says the drip process typically takes no longer than about an hour. Screening, IV placement, the chosen infusion and your response can change total appointment time.4

How should I prepare for IV therapy?

Follow Revival’s instructions. Unless told otherwise, arrive having eaten and hydrated normally, bring an updated medication and supplement list, and disclose allergies, health conditions, recent illness and pregnancy status.

What is in an IV drip?

Contents vary and may include a base fluid plus provider-selected ingredients. Revival must confirm its currently available formulas, dosing and eligibility after medical review; this page intentionally does not promise a universal menu.

Will I feel results immediately?

Experiences differ. Some people report subjective changes during or after a session, while others do not. Timing and outcome depend on the reason for treatment, formula and individual response, and no result is guaranteed.

Is IV therapy proven to improve general wellness?

Evidence supports IV fluids and nutrients for specific medical indications. High-quality evidence for many broad elective IV vitamin “wellness” claims is limited, so IV therapy should not be presented as a cure-all.3

Who should avoid elective IV therapy?

Suitability is individual. Heart or kidney disease, high blood pressure, pregnancy, fluid restrictions, allergies, medication interactions and other conditions can alter risk. Discuss these with your regular clinician and Revival’s provider before treatment.

Are there side effects?

Possible effects include needle discomfort, bruising, bleeding, swelling, vein irritation, leakage into nearby tissue, infection, allergic reaction, fluid or electrolyte imbalance and ingredient-specific effects. Seek care for severe or concerning symptoms.

Is there downtime after an IV?

Many people return to routine activity, but follow the instructions provided at your visit. Keep the dressing in place for the advised time and contact Revival about persistent pain, swelling, redness, drainage or other concerning symptoms.
